Refund policy


Canada Returns

Returns are accepted on orders within Canada within 10 days of receiving your products for a full refund. Merchandise must be in its original condition, with tags attached, and unwashed. Proof of purchase is required.

Within 21 days of receiving your products, Canadian customers are eligible for store credit. A receipt is required at the time of return. Store credits are redeemable in store only and not online.

All orders within Canada can be returned to any Take it Outside location. For online orders, please include a copy of your invoice.

US Returns

For US orders, returns are accepted only if the item is defective or not as described. Please contact info@takeitoutside.ca for assistance before starting a return.

When returning an order from the US, a Return Authorization number must be clearly documented on the package. Please confirm with the store before initiating the return. Failure to do so will result in any incurred costs being deducted from your refund.

Sezzle Refunds

Refunds for purchases made using Sezzle will be processed according to Sezzle’s refund policy. While we process the return on our end, all refunds remain subject to Sezzle’s terms and conditions. Customers who paid with Sezzle should review Sezzle’s refund policy for eligibility, processing times, and any applicable fees. For Sezzle related support, please contact Sezzle customer support directly.

How to Start a Return

To initiate a return for an online order, please contact the store from which your order was shipped. You can also visit our Contact page for assistance. Please wait for confirmation before sending any items back to the store.

Return Shipping

Customers returning orders by mail for a refund or exchange are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or not as described or ordered.

We encourage customers to add shipping insurance when returning an order. Shipping charges for online orders are non refundable. For any online order issues, please contact info@takeitoutside.ca.

Shoe Box Returns

If you are returning shoes or any item with a branded box, please place the item box inside a second shipping box or shipping envelope. Do not place the return label directly on the shoe box. Failure to follow this requirement will result in a 15% restocking fee.

Unclaimed Packages

If a package is returned to us as unclaimed, the customer will be charged the shipping cost.

Refund Processing

Online order returns will be processed within 3 business days of receiving the returned shipment.

Final Sale Items

Clearance items marked as Last Chance and discounted at 30% or more are final sale, both in store and online.

Non Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on intimate products, including packaged underwear, bathing suits, face masks, and similar items.
