Take it Outside Elevated Location Set to Become Adventure is Life Pop-Up

Halifax, NS: If you’ve walked by the storefront at 1980 Vernon Street in Halifax lately, you may have noticed a closed sign on the doors to Take it Outside Elevated. But fret not adventurers; there’s an excellent reason. Today, the team behind Take it Outside and the Trail Shop announced that they’re working behind the scenes on something extra exciting for fans of their brands, opening very soon – an Adventure is Life Pop-Up.
Beginning later this month, Take it Outside Elevated will re-open its doors as an Adventure is Life Pop-up location and will operate as such for the next six months. Adventure is Life is the company’s discount brand, featuring customers' favorite brands, such as Arc-Teryx, Fjall Raven, and more, for less. Shoppers can expect to see items on sale ranging from 20% to 50% off regular retail prices.
“One of our core values at Take it Outside is to elevate life’s adventures through authentic experiences by helping customers find items they love,” shared Take it Outside Founder and CEO Sue Stanfield. “Three years ago, the market may have been ready for an elevated shopping experience like the one we offer, but the reality is, we’re living in a very different world now. Even with the return-to-office movement, casual and chic is here to stay, and fans of our brand still favor styles they can wear to both work and on their weekend adventures.”
Stanfield shared that the long-term plan for the Halifax location is for it to become a shop-in-shop model for their strongest brands. The brands their customers have come to love and actively seek, but over the next six months, they’re looking forward to offering the brands folks love for less through Adventure is Life.
Established in 2012, Take it Outside is leading the outdoor casual lifestyle revolution in Atlantic Canada. Since opening the doors of the first location in Truro, Nova Scotia. Stanfield has expanded Take it Outside to locations in Halifax and Dartmouth. In 2022, she opened the company’s first New Brunswick location in Moncton. In 2016, she acquired local competitor the Trail Shop and now oversees seven combined store locations.
